Penny Per Stroke Program
A few years ago the NCWGA started a program to raise money through our member clubs called “Penny Per Stroke.” This is an easy way your Club can help fundraise for the NCWGA Junior Girls Programs. It's super easy to participate and the benefits exposure golf to junior girls throughout the state of North Carolina. We want junior girls to understand the importance of the game of golf and continue to play after their junior years.
How It works
If your LGA would like to participate, you would choose one ladies’ play day during the year which you would designate as the fundraiser for North Carolina junior girls’ golf Penny Per Stroke Program. On that day, each participant donates a penny for each stroke of her score. The money would then be sent to our Treasurer to be deposited into our junior girls’ account. With this program, and other donations, we are able to offer financial help with tournament throughout the state and clinic expenses. Checks to help support North Carolina junior girls’ golf can be made to NCWGA, Inc.
